Where we work
InMedia Monitoring is a media monitoring platform for anyone tracking a brand, competitor, or name across India and the US — from Mumbai and Delhi to New York and San Francisco — used by PR teams, founders, and comms teams tracking global coverage.
Whether you’re a boutique PR agency, a founder tracking a competitor, or anyone keeping an eye on a name in the news, InMedia delivers the same enterprise-quality intelligence at a price that fits your budget.
Now in InMedia
Meet Nova, your AI assistant for PR. Create your own Nova as an AI agent — name it, tell it which brands and competitors to watch, and switch it on. It answers any question about your coverage — AVE, share of voice, journalists, sentiment — grounded in your live data, and emails you recurring briefings on autopilot.
InMedia Monitoring tracks 1,600+ Indian publications and collected 707,260 Indian articles in the last 30 days, across 13 languages. Those are counts from the live system, not a capacity estimate. We poll 1,769 feeds to reach them — several publications run more than one — and we quote the publication figure, because that is the one that means something to you.
Of those sources, 85 are tier-1 national titles, 878 are tier-2 and 664 are tier-3. Tier is not decoration — it drives what a mention is worth and how it ranks in your daily digest. A front-page story in Economic Times and a syndicated repost on a low-traffic aggregator are both mentions. They are not the same mention, and we do not report them as if they were.
Roughly a third of what we collect from India is not in English. In the same 30 days that produced 472,895 English articles, we collected 60,293 in Hindi, 36,263 in Malayalam, 33,224 in Telugu and 21,076 in Tamil. Every one is crawled on the same schedule, translated, sentiment-scored and priced on the same rate cards as the English nationals. If your story ran in Dainik Jagran and not in Mint, it still shows up, still carries a value, and still counts toward your share of voice.
Our own feeds are crawled every couple of hours, so a morning story is usually in your dashboard well before the day's first client call. The daily digest is timed to land in your inbox at the start of the IST working day and covers the previous full day, grouped India-first and then international, ordered by publication tier rather than by whatever arrived last. Pricing is in rupees, billed through Razorpay with GST-inclusive invoices — set deliberately for the Indian market rather than converted from a dollar price, which is why the INR figure is not the USD figure at that day's exchange rate.
Print clippings come from a scanning partner rather than a crawl, so print coverage depends on the titles in your clipping subscription. Broadcast is covered through the channels' online desks — CNBC-TV18, CNN-News18, Aaj Tak, DD India — not through airtime capture. Coverage behind a hard paywall is recorded as a mention with whatever the publisher exposes publicly, not reproduced in full. All three are worth knowing before you compare vendor source counts, because not everyone draws those lines in the same place, and the ones who draw them most generously tend not to say so.
